In the Tiny Tots Bible drill coaches are just getting the children ready for actual bible drill
competitions. Tiny Tots Drillers will learn the books of the bible and the book drill. They will
also learn the rules and procedures of a bible drill (ie. present bible, start, time, ect.). There is also
a wonderful activity book available through Life Way Christian Book Store that is jam packed full of
fun activities and learning experiences for these children.The children in the Tiny Tots drill do not compete in a drill, they simply show their home church their
new found skills. The church should then award them with a certificate of achievement. The suggested
date for the Tiny Tots drill is two weeks prior to your churches actual church drill.

The coach calls a book of the bible and the if called upon a driller should be able
to state the book before the book called, the book called, and the book after the book
called. Tiny Tots drillers have 15 seconds to step over the line after start is called.

You will need a Timer Person with a quiet stop watch preferable one that counts down,
the Coach, An awards presenter, enough small sheets of paper to give each driller a number
and some masking tape
Use masking tape to draw a line across the stage for drillers to step across.
Next pin a number on each of the drillers.
All drillers are on stage standing behind the line.

DRILL:
Coach calls 'Attention'
All drillers stand up straight, no talking, eyes on coach, hands at sides
Coach calls 'Mark' (wait for a second or two to give them time to think)
Coach calls 'start'
Timer starts stop watch to count down 15 seconds.
At the end Timer calls 'Time'
At this point no more drillers may step across the line.
Coach calls 'Number 4'
Very Loudly Number 4 states 'Matthew, Mark, Luke'
Coach calls 'That is correct'
Coach calls 'Attention' and all drillers step back
behind the line, stand up straight, no talking, eyes on coach,
and hands at sides.
After each child has had the opportunity to answer 5 calls (this
number can be less if you have alot of children) Coach calls
'You may relax this concludes the Tiny Tots Book Drill,
Tiny Tots Drillers please take a seat in the front row.
Will the Awards Presenter please come forward?'

Then the Awards Presenter will call a childs number and name.
For example; 'Number 4 Charlie Andrews' The child will come to
the stage and recieve his award and then go be seated with his/her
family.
