These seniors have worked very hard so I must ask you to observe a few rules while we are in competition. First, please turn off all cell phones, pagers, tv's, cd players, mp3 players, and cameras. There will be a time after the drill for pictures. Second, once the drill has started I have to ask you not to get up from your seat until the drill is over. And last please be in quiet prayer for these kids. Thank You. Okay, we have five different types of drills: The book drill, the Scripture Searching Drill, the Steps to Salvation drill, the What We Believe Drill, and the Key BiblicalPassage Drill. Our first Drill will be the BOOK DRILL. I will give the name of a book of the bible, and you will find the book. Place your index finger on any verse in the book named and step forward before time is called. When called upon, you will name the book before the one named, the book named, and the book after the one named.

After time has been called If called upon your will read the verse and state the scripture reference.

At the command 'start' You will locate the verse, put your index finger on the verse, and step forward before time is called. When time is called, I will instruct all of you to close your Bibles. When called upon you will recite the entire verse and state the scripture reference.

Romans 3:10.

And Finally, we will have the Key Biblical Passage Calls. I will call a title of a Key Biblical Passage. On the command 'start', you will locate the verses listed for the passage called, place your index finger on the verse, and step forward before time is called. When time is called, I will ask you all to close your bibles. When called upon you will state the title of the Key Biblical Passage and the scripture reference. Then I will ask the same driller to recite a specific verse or verses in that passage and state the reference. I will assist you by stating two or three words of the beginning verse and the last two to three words of the ending verse.

Have it prearranged for a song leader to come forward here and lead the congregation in a couple songs while the judges are counting up the scores.

Then the Awards Presenter will call a senior's number and name and state whether or not he/she will be advancing..
For example; 'Number 4 Charlie Andrews will be advancing to the Associational Level' The senior will come to
the stage and recieve his/her award and then go be seated with his/her family.
