Junior High Speakers Tournament Information!

1. The Junior Youth Speakers' Tournament is a ministry for Grades 7,8,9. It is designed to encourage growth toward Christian maturity. It is also designed to give young people some practice before they actually compete in the Youth Speakers Tournament. Young people are challenged to think seriously about their commitment to Christ.
2. Speakers in the tournament are judged on composition and delivery of their speeches. Moving around on this site will help you guide the youth as they prepare their speeches.
3. Junior Youth Speakers Tournament helps young people express their faith verbally. It demands serious time and effort, but the pay off is tremendous. Young people grow spiritually when engaged in the research, study, prayer, and practice of preparing a speech.
4. If a church does not have a Discipleship Training program, young people may participate in the tournament with the help of an adult church member.
5. Today's speakers will be ready to stand for Christ in their churches, at school, in their work places, and in their communities. They till develop the skills to articulate truth in a way that people witll hear and can understand.
